, the National Award Winning actor, turned a makeup artist, recently. Yes, he became the makeup artist for the theatre artists in a stage play, where he was also a part of the cast. When asked about this, Vijay said, “All of us in our drama troupe have been following this traditionally. We always help each other to make up. I am very much interested in makeup and have been learning the art. I had almost decided to spend more time on makeup before I got the National Award for Naanu Avanalla... Avalu. It is exciting that the film also grabbed the National Award for the makeup artists too." Vijay also informs that he is keen on makeup for his roles in the films too.
