SRK’s Raees Face Legal Problem

Shah Rukh Khan, who awaits the release of his forthcoming movie ‘Raees’ in theatres by July 3, 2016, is caught in legal trouble. Petitioner Mushtaq Sheikh has sought a direction from local court of Ahmedabad for a stay in the film and even filed a defamation suit of Rs 101 crore. Mushtaq Sheikh is the son or renowned Don, Abdul Latif. In his petition filed in Ahmadabad local court, the petitioner has claimed that his father has been wrongly portrayed in the film, and he fears that such negative portrayal could damage the reputation of his family in the society. Now the court has issued a notice to Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Farhan Akhtar, director Rahul Dholakia and producer Ritesh Sidhwani. Abdul Latif’s son maintained that the writer of the movie did not keep his word who promised to portray Latif in the right perspective. In this film, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is making her Bollywood debut with King Khan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui shares his screen presence with SRK.
