Rajasthan Government Declared Neerja As Tax-Free!

“Neerja” is the latest released movie of “Sonam Kapoor.” Sonam has played as the air hostess, Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life in saving the lives of hundreds of people when the fight is hijacked. The film is declared as tax-free in many states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, UP and Delhi. The latest to join the list is the Rajasthan Government. Recently, the government has announced the tax exemption for this flick. Sonam thanked the Rajasthan government through her Twitter. She tweeted, "A huge Thank You to Hon CM Smt @vasundharaBJP for making #Neerja tax free. Humbled by the gesture towards our nation's pride Neerja Bhanot.'' The producer, Fox Studios Vijay said, ''Neerja has been a learning lesson for all of us. This is just the beginning...We want to release the film in a lot of countries like Taiwan and others who don't look at Bollywood films. It is a long race.” The film also has Shabana Azmi, Yogendra Tiku and Shekhar Ravjiani.
