, who produced the original version of the film. Vipul Shah was supposed to do the film, as he was busy with his projects, the team decided to hold the project for a year. The team finalised the script in 2015. Meanwhile, Gaurangh Doshi, who is said to have sold the remake rights, started the casting for the film. So, Rajeev moved to the court on 4th August 2016. In the first hearing, On 9th August, Doshi’s lawyer said that his client had no connection with Aankhen 2 . But, he launched the film with the complete star cast on 17th August. On 23rd August, they launched the posters on social media. As they had falsely informed the court, Rajeev contacted the court, which ordered that they should not promote the film thereafter.
