was nominated in the category of Best Actor in a TV Movie. He was chosen for the performance in the TV movie, “Luther.” He was also nominated for the best Supporting Actor in the Motion Picture category for his excellence in “Beasts of No Nation.” But, he didn’t attend the Golden Globes Award ceremony, as he was not supposed to travel, due to his injured back. The Doctors advised him not to take the flight, as he might suffer due to his low back pain. But, they have suggested him to travel a month later and hence, he would be seen in the Screen Actors Guild Awards function on 30th January.
