Vanessa Hudgens Pays $1000 Restitution

Actress Vanessa Hudgens, who is renowned for her role as Gabriella Montez in the’ High School Musical’ series, was made to pay $1000 in restitution for causing damage to a natural property on the U.S. Forest Service Land. Hudgens, who had been to Sedona, Arizona a few months back, had posted a picture of her with boyfriend Austin on Instagram around the Valentines week. This picture, which started the controversy, showed a heart carved into the red rock, bearing the names Vanessa and Austin. The picture was later removed from Instagram, but it was too late by then. Her followers on Insta were quick to alert the authorities. After all, being famous comes with a price.
A volunteer group called ‘Friends Of Forests’ used this money to bring back the rock wall to its original state by scrubbing the rock.
