“Toy Story” was released two decades back. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Lasseter participated in a panel discussion along with Ed Catmull, who is the president of Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios, October 1st at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. “Toy Story” was the first ever fully computer animated film.
During the discussion in the panel, Lasseter cited the varied inspirations, which influenced the design of the Toy Story's story plot and the characters.
Toy Story 2 released after four years of the first part. Toy Story 3 was made after fifteen years of the 1st part. And the Toy Story 4 will be released on June 16, 2017.
