The Popular Film Editor Millie Moore, Dies At 86
Millie Moore was a female editor who edited “Johnny Got His Gun” by Dalton Trumbo. She also rendered a great part in editing the Oscar-winning documentary, called “The Man Who Skied Down Everest “. This wonderful lady rested in peace in her 86. She was the nominee for the Emmy Award, three times. She was honored in 2008, for the lifetime achievement award. The Award was given by the American Cinema Editors. She was affected by the lung cancer and dementia. She was residing in a senior residence in Calabasas. Moore’s debut movie as an editor was through, “Johnny Got His Gun”. The movie bagged with two prizes at the Cannes. “Lady Sings The Blues” and “Starship Invasions” are some of her popular editorial hits.
