in the lead role because she had played the character in the original Avengers series. On asking about other characters of the movie, the makers said that they are creatively and emotionally committed to doing a Black Widow movie.
They said that it is a very amazing character and also she is one of the lead Avengers, so she must have her own story to tell, and that could become a good plot for the movie.
