It was released in 2015 and has become among the highest-grossed movies in the Indian film industry. The Royal backdrop of the movie starts IN 2nd half when Shivudu goes to Mahishmati and listens to the story of his father, Amarendra Bahubali.

The Satavahanas ruled the present-day Deccan region, and Satakarni was the best ruler of the Satavahana Dynasty. Krish Jagarlamudi directed this 2017 movie. The entire story goes around how Satakarni dreams of uniting all the kingdoms in India to bring them under one flag. The movie unfolds the challenges he faced while achieving his goal.

4. Rudramadevi

Another Biographical movie is the 2015 Rudramadevi, with Anushka Shetty as the main lead. It was based on the real-life story of Rudramadevi, the most prominent ruler of Kakatiya Dynasty. She is also one of the few women emperors in India. The movie's storyline folds this way, fearing that people will not accept a female emperor as the successor; Ganapati Deva raises her like a man. Yuganiki Okkadu is a Telugu Version of the original Tamil film "Aayirathil Oruvan," released in 2010. It was the story of an archaeologist's journey searching for any existence of the prince of the Chola dynasty.

10. Padmavati

Padmavat was a pan-Indian movie initially made in Hindi but also dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The movie's plot revolves around Queen Padmavati, who was living happily after marrying a Rajput Sultan. This happiness did not last, as Alauddin Khilji declared war on their kingdom due to his obsession with Padmavati.
