Top 10 Twitter Wars Of Bollywood

Top 10 Twitter Wars Of Bollywood Hindi Article

1. Hrithik Roshan Vs. Kangana Ranaut

The Kangana - Hrithik love controversy reached an ugly turn when the two Bollywood stars filed legal notices against each other. Hrithik broke his long silence after Kangana, in an interview hinted at Hrithik being her “silly ex.” His tweet regarding the matter stated that he would rather have an affair with the Pope than the woman he was being linked with. The whole of Bollywood was shaken by this controversy, though everyone abstained from taking sides.

2. Shobha De Vs. Sonam Kapoor

Shobhaa De is known for her stinging words and her critical remarks. She labelled Sonam’s recently released movie I Hate Luv Stories, as a “Dumb Story”. She went on to criticize Sonam and Imran for their dull performances. Sonam Kapoor resorted to Twitter and urged her fans to not listen to De as she was a “fossil not getting any action and going through Menopause.” The tweet caused a string of replies by the writer calling her a Bollywood brat with limited intelligence.

3. Bipasha Basu Vs. Ameesha Patel

The feud started when the Bollywood beauties ended up wearing the same dress in different colors at the IIFA green carpet. At the end of the event, Bipasha tweeted regarding a fellow actress wearing the same dress and also went on to say that she cannot stop the world from “purchasing the same clothes as her and keeping a tab on all.” To this, Patel retorted by making it clear that her dress was designed by Ramona Narang, her childhood friend, two months in advance and one should not get upset by some unrequired comments made by another actress. She ended her tweet by saying “As for copying, why would I? How silly!”

4. Rajeev Masand Vs. Amitabh Bachchan

Rajeev Masand, after Akshay Kumar paid a visit to RK Laxman in the hospital, called Akki a jackass who needed new ideas to promote his films in competitive times. Big B did not appreciate his post and responded on Twitter saying that Masand’s fraternity would not have spared Akshay, had he called him a “Jackass.” This started a Twitter war, and Rajeev Masand reminded Big B of his failure to express any outrage when the security bashed up the photographers during Abhishek’s wedding

5. Karan Johar Vs. Ram Gopal Verma

The war of words between the two directors has been making headlines for a long time. A few years earlier, RGV called Karan’s “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna,” the scariest film he has ever seen. When RGV tweeted regarding “Student of the Year” calling it the “Disaster of the Year,” Karan Johar very subtly delivered burns saying that the disaster territory belonged to RGV, referring to his earlier release “Aag”.

6. Bipasha Basu Vs. The People

The Bengali beauty got into trouble when she posted a picture of a young girl tying her shoe-laces. The caption of the picture was- “I need to learn to tie shoe laces ASAP. Promise I am not spoilt.” The picture caused a negative uproar on the social media platform with the public accusing her of child labor. Matters cooled down when the air was cleared and Bipasha stated that the girl was her sister.

7. Ayesha Takia Vs. Siddhartha Mallya

Ayesha Takia took to twitter to complain about the discomfort and inconvenience caused to her sister during her journey with Kingfisher Airlines. Siddhartha Mallya took this comment seriously and tweeted asking Ayesha to “pipe down.”

8. Shirish Kunder Vs. Shahrukh Khan

The fight started when Shirish Kunder took a dig at SRK’s Ra One tweeting, “I just heard a 150 crore firework fizzle.” Though King Khan remained silent on Twitter, reports of SRK slapping Shirish at a party soon followed.

9. Bhairavi Goswami Vs. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan did not even need to reply and maintained a dignified silence when Bhairavi posted a tweet accusing the Bachchan family of going to an IVF clinic specializing in boy babies. All the accusations were falsified when Aishwarya gave birth to her daughter, Aradhya.

10. Shobhaa De Vs. Minissha Lamba

The writer just cannot keep her remarks to herself. She did the same when she tweeted that “Minissha Lamaba should have kept the borrowed rocks at home and dazzled with her talent instead,” when the actress was held at the airport for carrying undeclared gold. Lamba straight up replied that real writers should write books and not insult others on Twitter.
