1. ' Sairat' (2016)

2. Dombivli Fast (2005)

This film is written and directed by Nagraj Manjule in an executive premiere. The film portrays the story of Somnath Avghade, a 13-year-old teen who belongs to a low caste community who does sub-standard jobs for survival in the society. This young lad falls in love with his classmate Rajeshwari Kharat (Shalini) who unfortunately belongs to a high caste society. He tries to impress her by collecting money to buy some fashionable stuff like branded clothes.
It focuses on the age old Caste system discrimination which is still a gumshoe in our society.

The court is a documentary film written and directed by Chaitanya Tamhane, featuring a cast of a maverick. The film portrays an old folk singer who is tied up with court charges on the assistance of suicide. It follows the personal lives of lawyers and judges.
