This Actor received National Award for his performance even as a Child artist, so no doubt that he has been as successful as an actor for more than 50 years now. This down to earth artist states that his success has only little much to do with his talent, instead he gives credit to the God, his parents and his audience. This multi-faceted has many feathers in his hat. Sachin was born in Mumbai, though he was born in a Marathi family his ancestors are from Goa. He started his career as a child artist in the year 1962 and received national award for his debut movie itself, he went on to do more than 60 films as Child artist. Later he shifted to adult roles in movies, he also directed many successful movies, he met his wife Supriya while directing his first debut Marathi movie, this movie was a hit, and they got married a year later and have been very popular couple in the Marathi film industry since then. They have a daughter named Shriya. This duo also won a dance reality show title. He has also hosted many reality shows, off late he appears in few reality shows as Judge. He is at present writing his autobiography and has stated that this book would be a contribution to all people who has helped and inspired him in his life.
