Top 10 Evergreen Songs of Bollywood

The first thing flashes in my mind when I am writing this, an instance narrated by my father. He had gone to watch a Hindi Movie in Chennai (erstwhile Madras) when he was 18 years old. The theater was small, and there were few people inside. My father was tired and soon dozed off to sleep. However, after some time, he woke up due to some tapping sound. What he saw, it was astonishing to him. There was a song going on the screen and everyone in the theatre were tapping their feet. Within few seconds, my father was able to realize that there is something in the song which manages to set every body's feet tapping. The beats of the song and the breath of vocalist (singer) made him feel good. The song not only connected to the audience but made the music more appealing. The song was too easy to remember, tune or phrase, melodically easy on the ear, simple enough to stay in the head all day and is typically appealing. From childhood, I use to watch my father listening to songs from movies of his era and thus I also got interest in those songs.
