Picheswara Rao Arluri is a famous Indian writer. Pitcheswara Rao Atluri was born on 12 April 1925 in Choutpalli, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. Pitcheswara Rao Atluri also served in Indian Navy as a Mechanical engineer in 1945. PichEswara Rao Atluri left the Indian Navy and worked as a journalist in a Telugu newspaper. In 1962, he started his career as a screenwriter for Telugu films. Pitcheswara wrote short stories and drama plays, giving him recognition in the industry. Rao also translated literal works written in Russian and Hindi to Telugu. His movie script had released as a book. Some of the famous released books are Illarikam(1929), Krishna Leelalu(1960),ChivarakuMigiledi(1960), Baatasari(1961), Bharyabhartalu(1961), Atambandhuvu(1962), Kodukulu-Kodallu(1962).Pitcheswara married Choudha Rani, daughter of Tripuraneni Ramaswamy, a well-known poet and social activist.
