Born on June 10, 1946, in Meduru, Andhra Pradesh, Paruchuri Gopala Krishna is an Indian movie dialogue writer, actor, director, play writer, screenwriter, poet, novelist, story writer, orator and actor. He is predominant in Telugu film Industry. He is the son of Hymavathamma and Paruchuri Raghaviah. He has one older sister and two older siblings Paruchuri Kutumba Rao and
Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao. Gopala Krishna got B. SC Bachelor's degree from Government City Science College and has an M.A Telugu Master's degree from Arts College.
Later, he finished Ph.D. doctorate degree from Osmania University on the topic 'Telugu Cinema Sahityam - Katha-Kathanam - Siplam' in 2003. Gopala Krishna presented his thesis to get Doctor of Literature (D.Litt) from Berhampur University in Orissa. His examination subject in 2015 was 'Telugu Cinema Story – Social Outlook' and attended the viva. He has likewise completed 'Rashtra Bhasha' in Hindi. Gopala Krishna is conversant in English, Hindi and familiar with Tamil. He is married to Vijaya Lakshmi. Gopala Krishna worked as a Telugu instructor at Lal Bahdoor Shastri Oriental College in Chinanindra Kolanu of West Godavari.
Afterward, he joined as Head of the Department of Telugu in Sugar Cane Growers College and Adusumilli Gopala Krishna in Vuyyuru of Krishna District.
