Aparna Thota

Aparna Thota is a well-known Telugu writer, gender-trained, and social worker. Her hometown is Hyderabad. She has a sister named Kavya Sarraju and a mother named Sireesha Dasari. She went to Maharishi Patanjali Vidya Mandir for her school education. After that, she got her bachelor degree at P. B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Science in Vijayawada (2000). She went to St. Francis College for Women, completed her Master Degree, and specialized in medical and psychiatry. She has worked as a project manager at Bhumika Women's Collective since October 2, 2002.

She has also been a former language editor at Prism Books Private Limited (PARI) at the People Archive of Rural India in Hyderabad from March 2021 to March 2022. She was a former CSR consultant at Mold-Tek Group from December 1, 2016 to March 31, 2018. She was also a former program manager for development projects at TMI Group from February 2016 to September 2016 in Secunderabad. She was the HR manager at Samhita CADD & Graphics from January 2014 to January 2016. She has been a volunteer at FundRaising and Event Management in Alabama. She has been a dashboard design consultant at Andhra Pradesh Police Magazine and a program manager for development projects at C&K Management.

She has also worked as a senior associate editor for Suraksha (AP Police Magazine) at the government of the AP Police Department. She has worked as the HR Manager at SISBIM.  She was also the General Secretary at the Aarambh Association for Autism. She has been a project coordinator at LEPRA Society, a consultant coordinator at E TV2, and a field officer in the Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust at the Confederation of Indian Industry. Moreover,  She has published many books, like Poorna: The Youngest Girl in the World to Scale Mount Everest in 2019 and Bold & Beautiful in 2021. She has co-edited the book, “In the Mood for Love” in 2018.
