Jamuna Rayalu is a renowned Telugu theater actress, a producer, and a director. She is associated with the Akkineni Institute of Media Acting (AIM). Jamuna is from a Surabhi family and became popular after portraying the roles of Radha, Srikrishna, Chandramathi and Sathyabhama. She used to perform with many professionals and amateurs. Besides being a good actress, she is also a good singer with a good sounding voice and bhava.
Jamuna produced and directed the verse play entitled Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba, along with the Surabhi Theatre Unit in 2012. The play depicts the life of Tarigonda Vengamamba, a poet and a devotee of Lord Venkateswara, and it won the Nandi Award, which was held during an event in Suryakala Mandiram. Jamuna also directed Sashirekha Parinayam, a stage drama that won the Nandi Nataka Parishath for Best Production, which took place at Vijayawada.
