Sreenidhi Tirumala is an Indian Carnatic musician, music director and playback singer who was born on January 26, 1990, in Anantapur. Her mother, T. Sarada, is a Carnatic musician, and her father, T. Subramanyacharyulu, is a Carnatic vocalist and violinist. Her mother gave her the initial training since she would sing ragaalapanams, swarams, and Thyagaraja krithis to the newborn Sreenidhi instead of lullabies.
Later, she received professional training from Dr. Nedunuri Krishnamurthy, a renowned vocal virtuoso named Sangita Kalanidhi. Sreenidhi performs concerts in numerous locations across the globe and participates in essential sabhas in India. She has been honored with several prizes. She was the title winner of Super Singer-1 and was also registered in the Guinness Book of World Records at the age of 3. She also received the esteemed Dikshithar Tambura Prize in Kalasagaram in 2011.
