Sunitha Tati is an Indian Film Producer who is primarily known for her work in Telugu films. She produces her movies under the production house of Guru Films Pvt Limited. She was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. She spent her childhood in Vijayawada; and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from George Mason University in Virginia, USA. She did film-making course after her graduation from
New York University. She was a bright student and she was majorly influenced by the early Hollywood directors.
She excelled in her post-graduation and came back as a learned director. She became a Radio Jockey in Radio Mirchi and TV9 Telugu in Andhra Pradesh. She made her debut as an assistant director in the movie, Jayam Manade Raa in 2000. The film got directed by D.
Suresh Babu under his own banner, Suresh Productions. Venkatesh and Soundarya and Bhanupratap were chosen as lead characters and the music was composed by Vandemataram Srinivas.
The movie was a massive success upon its release and was commercially and critically a blockbuster. Later it was dubbed in Hindi as Dum, the man of power.Her another film, Malliswari, released in 2004.
Katrina Kaif and Venkatesh were cast as the leads. It was later dubbed in Malayalam in the same name. It won the Nandi Award for the Best Home Viewing Feature Film.
