Guinness Book of World Records holder Daggubati Ramanaidu was born on 6th June 1937. He is the initiator of ' Suresh Productions' who individually produced more than 150 movies in 13 different languages, and therefore secured a place in the world book of records.
D.Ramanaidu was born into an agricultural background in a small village in Andhra Pradesh. He got his education from the same village and graduation from 'Presidency College,' Chennai. His father forced him to go Chennai and toil with movie producers. Before coming to this line, he had a business of rice- mill and later bricks producer initially and later he got them shut.
In 1963, Ramanaidu collaborated with his pal and produced ' Anuragam Anuragam is an Indian television soap opera in Mal >> Read More... ' which was not successful. He also opened his 'Suresh Productions' and made 'Ramudu Bheemudu' in 1964. In the 1970s, he continued with the Telugu cinema by making movies 'Pratigna Palana' (1965), 'Sri Krishna Tulabharam' (1966), Paapa Kosam Ramudu Bheemudu, which were all success.
In Chennai, he produced 'Prem Nagar' along with his friend in a different production house. The film was again a hit and his career went on the top. All his production houses were situated in Chennai and during that period of time, he opened his new house in Hyderabad rally round with the state government. He named his studio as 'Ramanaidu Studios'. Later he opened his production house nationally and made Punjabi, Oriya, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Kannada, Hindi films.
