Sahithi Galidevara is a South Indian playback singer born on 12 February 1987 in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. She has recorded several songs in Telugu both in movies and in albums and has gone on to establish herself as a leading playback singer of Indian Cinema. She wanted to become a playback singer from a very young age and started training for the same at that young age.

Sahiti first learnt the basics of music under her mentor Shri Tirupathi Gopala Krishna, but it is her uncle jogarao from whom she learnt how to sing. Sahiti holds a B.Tech degree and worked for Infosys for some time. However, she quit her job after establishing herself as a successful playback singer. She began her career by being in top 8 in ETV’s Singer's challenge show Sye in 2007 later on she won the regional version of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa - Voice of Youth by Zee Telugu in 2008 for which she took a break from her Software Engineer job at Infosys.

After that She finally got the chance to show her talent on a national stage in the form of Sony TV’s singing reality show X Factor which was aired in 2011 and became one of the 12 finalists in the first season. X Factor was a completely different experience for her as she does not understand Hindi properly so she had to work hard to understand the lyrics of the song. She credits X Factor in transforming her as a singer and a performer. Then she went on to appear on Super Singer Spicy Series 7 and 8 on MAA TV. 2008 was her debut year and she gave voice to a Telugu movie Pardhu in a song called JabbaKotti.

She went on to give voice in many more songs such as “NeneNani Ne” from the movie “ Eega”. In 2011 she sang the following songs in Multi artist album PlzVinaddu, “What happen to me”, “VeligeDeepam” and “PlzVinaddu”. Then in “MudakarathaModakam”, “SumanovanditaSundari” from the album Jayaghosha. Her latest song is “Rai Rai” from the movie “ Rule”.

Veena Ghantasala is an Indian dubbing artist who works in the South Indian film industry. Born in the famous Ghantasala family, she is the granddaughter of musician Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao and Savitri. Her father, Ratna Kumar is also involved in the art of dubbing in the movies. Based in Chennai, she completed her schooling at Holy Angels Convent School in the city. Later, she went on to pursue B.Com in finance and MBA at MOP Vaishnav College for Women in the same metropolis. Previously stated, Ratna Kumar had dubbed for Hindi superstars such as Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan for the regional version of their flicks. Naturally, Veena followed in his footsteps and decided to become an artist just like her father. Before joining the current profession, she used to sing songs and jingles. When she was in the fourth grade, she got herself enrolled in Carnatic music classes. Veena’s teachers and relatives encouraged her passion for music which proved to be helpful when she delivered her first-ever stage performance without any sign of nervousness. She got her first chance to dub for the popular television serial Mowgli in Telugu language at the age of eleven. Further, she performed the task for Suryavamsam which got aired on Gemini TV. Apparently, she made her debut in motion pictures when she dubbed for Pia Bajpai in “Goa.”Veena has got opportunities to dub for prominent heroines such as Genelia D’Souza (Urumi), Bindu Madhavi (Sega), Kangana Ranaut (Rakshakudu), Yami Gautam(Kaabil), Hansika Motwani (Biryani), Adah Sharma (Heart Attack), and Tamannah (Veerudu Okade). In an interview, she said that she approached PuriJagannadh of “Pokkiri” and “BbudahHoga Tera Baap” fame, for dubbing work. Without any hesitation, the director instantly agreed to give Veena the responsibility to dub for Adah Sharma’s character Hayati in “Heart Attack.” She considers Puri as a charismatic person who sees a winner in every artist. “Heart Attack” was her first full-fledged Telugu project. Veena took a break from her stints to complete her MBA course during her hiatus. Like her name “Veena” which is an instrument’s name, she is good at playing it. Her hobbies include cooking which she believes a part of “meditation.” Not many people would know about it, but Veena teaches under-privileged children with sincere efforts. For those who are curious, her teaching subjects include Maths and English. For her, Ghantasala guru, Ratna Kumar, Chinmayi, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sunitha are sources of inspiration. She has noticed that in Tollywood, people appreciate every artist including those who work behind the scenes which she considers as the difference between Tamil and Telugu cine industry. Though she declined TV offers, Veena has not ruled out acting as a career option.

He worked on many Tamil films and gave melodies music for them. His movie ‘Arundhati’ got released in the year 2009 and gained a lot of popularity for its old world songs. The movie was based on the theme of incarnation and had a strong story. The artist died in the year 2013 while traveling through train to the Kakinada beach festival. His daughter was also with him. The singer had a heart attack which took away his life and a shining star from the entertainment industry.
