Geetha Madhuri is a well-known playback singer and is best known for her works in films like ‘Nachavule’ and ‘Golimaar’ for singing the songs like, ‘Ninne Ninne’ and ‘Magaallu.' She was born in August on 24th in the year 1989. She was born to parents Lakshmi and Prabhakar, in the Palakol area in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Her father, Mr. Prabhakar, was an official of the SBH and Geetha Madhuri was her parent’s one and only child. She did her higher secondary education from a school named Loyola in the area of Vanasthalipuram in the city of Hyderabad.Â
During her childhood, Geetha was given training in music and singing by her parents and was given the opportunity to train under great musicians of that time. For her initial few years, Geetha underwent training from the famous Smt. Kocharlakota Padmavati Garu. Later on, she also sought to train from the renowned musician, Ramachari Garu. She has appeared on a few reality television singing shows and has even become the semi-finalist in one. She participated in the Super Singer Show, which was aired on MAA TV. She also contested in the SYE Singers Challenge, which was aired on the channel, ETV Telugu. She had become a semi-finalist in this show.
Geetha got her big break as a playback singer pretty soon after her tryst with reality television shows and had soon gathered enough fame and support. She took on the role of playback singer for the first time for the film, ‘Premalekha Rasa’ directed by Kulasekhar. She is the recipient of a row of awards such as the Nandi Award, Maa Award, Santhosham Award, Filmfare Award, South Scope Award, SIIMA Award, IIFA Utsavam 2016, etc. She got married to Ananda Krishan Nandu, an actor in the industry, on February 9th in 2014.Â
