Geetha Madhuri is a well-known playback singer and is best known for her works in films like ‘Nachavule’ and ‘Golimaar’ for singing the songs like, ‘Ninne Ninne’ and ‘Magaallu.' She was born in August on 24th in the year 1989. She was born to parents Lakshmi and Prabhakar, in the Palakol area in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Her father, Mr. Prabhakar, was an official of the SBH and Geetha Madhuri was her parent’s one and only child. She did her higher secondary education from a school named Loyola in the area of Vanasthalipuram in the city of Hyderabad. 

During her childhood, Geetha was given training in music and singing by her parents and was given the opportunity to train under great musicians of that time. For her initial few years, Geetha underwent training from the famous Smt. Kocharlakota Padmavati Garu. Later on, she also sought to train from the renowned musician, Ramachari Garu. She has appeared on a few reality television singing shows and has even become the semi-finalist in one. She participated in the Super Singer Show, which was aired on MAA TV. She also contested in the SYE Singers Challenge, which was aired on the channel, ETV Telugu. She had become a semi-finalist in this show.

Geetha got her big break as a playback singer pretty soon after her tryst with reality television shows and had soon gathered enough fame and support. She took on the role of playback singer for the first time for the film, ‘Premalekha Rasa’ directed by Kulasekhar. She is the recipient of a row of awards such as the Nandi Award, Maa Award, Santhosham Award, Filmfare Award, South Scope Award, SIIMA Award, IIFA Utsavam 2016, etc. She got married to Ananda Krishan Nandu, an actor in the industry, on February 9th in 2014.

Amrutha Suresh is an Indian singer who works solely in the Malayalam film industry. Having risen to prominence thanks to the popular Malayalam reality TV show Idea Star Singer, she has since gone on to be a featured as a part of the soundtracks of many Malayalam movies. She is married to popular Malayalam and Tamil actor ‘Bala’. Amrutha’s first big break came in the popular music-based reality show Idea Star Singer. The show is popular in Kerala and is loosely based on the format of the much bigger Indian Idol. She participated in the 2007 version of the show, which she eventually failed to win. However, her talent was evident and she soon found work in the Malayalam film industry. Her first work was in the song ‘Unarumee Pulakangal’, which was a duet with prominent male singer Madhu Balakrishnan. The song appeared on the soundtrack of the Malayalam film ‘Vaamanapuri’. Her next work came in the song ‘Minnaaminunge’, which was her first solo work in a film song. The song was part of the 2008 Malayalam film ‘Kabadi Kabadi’. She followed this up with another solo cut; this one was titled ‘Ayalathe Kuyile’. This popular song was part of the movie ‘Venalmaram’; the lead actor of the movie was Amrutha’s then boyfriend Bala. She was then chosen to sing on a posse cut with three other artists; Franco, Geemon, and Naveen. The song they recorded together was eventually named ‘Munthiri’; it appeared in the 2010 Malayalam film that featured a star-studded cast of ‘Dileep’, ‘Sathyaraj’, and ‘Charmi’. ‘Sadukudu’ was the next song she recorded for a movie. She recorded the song alongside National Award winning singer and music director M.G. Sreekumar, a veteran of the Malayalam film industry. The song was part of the soundtrack of the film ‘Pulimaan’. Her next two movie songs were solo cuts; she recorded ‘Amma Nilaavaay’ and ‘Akalaminnarikeyalle’ for the movies ‘Amma Nilaavu’ and ‘The Hitlist’ respectively. She also recorded another song for The Hitlist that was titled ‘Kannaake’ alongside playback singer and music director Alphonse Joseph. Amrutha has been busy with her personal life and making time for her husband and daughter. She met Bala when she was a part of Idea Star Singer, and he was there as a judge. The supposed falling apart of their marriage has been the subject of tabloid speculation for a while now. Recently, she made a singing comeback with the band Amrutham Gamaya which was founded by her. She also has a prominent role on the TV music show Music Mojo, which is regularly broadcasted on the Malayalam channel Kappam TV.


Jassi Gill

Jassi Gill is the stage name for Jasdeep Singh; he was born in Jatt Sikh family in a small village named Jandali in Ludhiana, Punjab. While he was growing up, he had no interest in becoming a singer until one day his teacher from Gobindgarh College, where Jassi went for his education, became aware of his singing talent that’s when he chose music as one of his practical subjects in order improve marks at college. He was encouraged and trained by his teacher; he was made to participate in the local youth festivals, where he secured the second position for four consecutive years. He rose to local fame. In the year 2011, Jassi Gill came out with his debut album Bachmate, which gave him immediate success especially due to his sensational song “Chudiyan”, the song became an overnight hit and won the hearts of many people. To increase his following among the youth, he came up with hit single “Vigre Sharabi” in 2012. A year later he went onto launch his second album by the name of Bachmate 2, the album was a bigger hit and gained Jassi more following than the earlier album and the song Lancer from the album was one the major hit that year. He came out with another amazing song “Classmate” to follow up on the successes from his previous hits; the song was also present in Daddy Cool Munde Fool a hit Punjabi movie. In the September of the same year he launched a worldwide hit single Pyar Mera, the song received a huge success and made into the hearts of millions. In the following year, Jassi made his acting debut in the film industry with Mr. & Mrs. 420, a Punjabi comedy that went onto become a superhit in the region. His next project was Dil Vil Pyar Vyar while following up that with Mundeyan Ton Bachke Rahin while pairing up with Roshan Prince and Simran Kaur Mundi. Earlier in 2015, Jassi Gill coupled up with Gauhar Khan for her debut Punjabi movie.
