Yuvarani is a stunning Indian film, television and Tollywood actress. She always looks young so she became one of the most favorite television actresses by many people in Tamil Nadu. She dresses well, and so ladies who usually watch her on serials always wait to see her sarees. She was born on November 30, 1974, in India, and started her acting career in 1992. She acted in many Tamil films in the lead role and she was also starred in some television serials. She was remarkable for playing as Prabhavathi in the Tamil serial, Chithi, on Sun TV in 2003, where she acted as a female who hates her stepmother. Though it was a negative character, because of her experience in acting in many movies, she gained the heart of many people as Prabhavathi.

Last April of 2010, she won a total of RM70, 000 on a civil suit that she filed against the two distributors and the Indian Movie News Magazine (IMN) in 2003. Yuvarani claims that she was defamed by the materials that the IMN published in the Tamil language on their April and August 1998 issues. She also mentioned that the materials that the magazine posted were not true and it was only published with malicious intention. Yuvarani was also named in Guru Swami Nithyananda and actress, Ranjitha’s sex scandal in 2010. She had a meeting with the Chennai Commissioner, T. Rajendran, to file a complaint, and told the press that the controversy is not correct. She filed a petition to remove the video from the Internet.

She has appeared in quite a number of Tamil and Telugu movies also. She was first seen in the K. Balachander’s Tamil film, ‘Azhagan’, and in the film, Thambi Oorukku Pudhusu, in 1991. She later appeared in Deiva Vaaku and Pudhu Varusham. In 1993, she was featured, once again, in K. Balachander’s Tamil drama film, Jathi Malli, followed with various Tamil and Telugu films. Yuvarani didn’t have much of a leap in her career until she played Geetha in the 1995 Tamil film, ‘Baashha’. Her first lead role in the big screen was from the Tamil romantic drama film, ‘Chellakannu’, in 1995, under the direction of N. Rathnam. The story is all about two cousins, Chellakannu (played by actor, Vignesh) and Chandra (played by Yuvarani). They are very close to each other ever since they were young; until Chandra leaves their village to pursue her studies. When she returns, their family wants them to get married. Yuvarani did a few more films including the Tamil action film, ‘ Singham Click to look into! >> Read More... ’, and ‘Singham 2’. This year, she is filming, ‘Varusa Naadu’.

Yuvarani was married to Ravindra, a businessman from Malaysia, and so she moved to Malaysia for her husband. Later, she came back to India and acted in the small screen. She became popular for doing the negative role of Prabhavathi in the famous Tamil television series, ‘Chithi’, which was aired on Sun TV, produced by Radaan Productions. In the story, Yuvarani’s character hated Chithi so much. She was also part of the Sun TV serial, ‘ Kalyanam Kalyanam is a family centric drama mixed with crim >> Read More... ’, in 2009, with actress Meena in the lead role. She also acted as Thirupura Sundari in Vikatan Telvistas, ‘ Thendral “Thendral” is one of the very best teleserials eve >> Read More... ’, on Sun TV and in Tamil soap, Mamiyar Thevai Mamiyar Thevai is a fantastic Tamil Serial aired o >> Read More... on Zee Tamil, where she played Gayathri.
