Vandana Gupta is a beautiful South Indian actress and was born on September 12. She was born in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Vandana attended the Baptist Higher Secondary School in Agra. She majored in Commerce and completed her graduation from St. John’s College, Agra. She participated in Miss Agra beauty contest at the college level and emerged as the winner. Vandana is well-known for her beauty and striking personality, and this helped her bag a lot of modeling contracts as well as advertisement assignments. Benadryl was the first advertisement in which she worked. Vandana has worked in hundreds of commercials for products including Airtel, Fair & Lovely, Garnier, Tata Docomo, Spinz Deo, Bajaj Appliances and the list goes on. Initially, she planned to be a Chartered Accountant (CA) and had no plans of becoming a model or an actor. But she started modeling when she was in school. She then got her photo shoot done and started getting offers to act in advertisements. She owes her success to her parents who helped her and supported her in every possible way. Vandana then moved to Mumbai to try her hand at acting.

Vandana began her acting career by doing the Hindi comedy film, “Hyderabad Nawabs” (2006). Vandana portrayed the character of Kamini in the Kannada film, Hrudayadali Idenidu. This movie is about three girls, Geetha, Priya and Kamini, who happen to fall in love with the same man, Sanjay. Vandana went ahead to star in Telugu/Kannada movie, Ajantha. She played the lead role in this flick based on the story of a musician and his struggle. She recently starred in a horror movie, Tulsidalam, and played the role of Nisha. Vandana has also worked in a Hindi tele-movie, Teri Meri Love Stories.

Vandana lists yoga and cooking as her hobbies.
