Amruta Ghuge is a Marathi actress who has also worked in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Ghuge is primarily known for Dreamz: The Movie and the Marathi flick Vishesh Mhanje Hi Mazi Mrs. Before featuring in the crossover film Dreamz, Ghuge featured in two Tamil and Telugu films. Dreamz: The movie centered around thirteen women sharing similar pasts. They have all had a complicated history and are on the path to reformation when a familiar friend's death brings them together. The film is inspired by the real lives of underprivileged girls worldwide. Amruta Ghuge essays the role of Neha in the film, produced by Brentwood Movies and Media and Pixel International, and released in 2013.
Ghuge featured in the Marathi flick Vishesh Mhanje Hi Mazi Misses in 2013. Besides Ghuge, Prasad Oak and Ashok Shinde starred in lead roles. The comedy-drama was helmed by Pitambar Kale and produced under the banner of Tirupati Cine. Ghuge was a participant in the Miss India beauty pageant in 2009. She won the title for Beautiful Hair at the spectacle. In 2007, she won the title Miss India Navy Queen. She got modeling assignments for several commercials. After featuring in Sumana Mukherjee's crossover flick Dreamz, Ghuge featured on magazines like Cinebit and Tulip.
Amruta Ghuge hails from Solapur, Maharashtra. Subhash Ghuge, her father, is a chartered accountant and secretary of Kaka Solapur Hundekari Association. Ghuge pursued a course in Biotechnology from Abhinav Vidyalaya, Pune.
