Lezlie

Lezlie Tripathy is an Indian model and actor. She was seen predominantly in Telugu and Hindi film industries. She was born on the 26th of June, 1990. She is originally from Kendrapada, Odisha. She is born to Dr.Sailendra Narayan Tripathy, an English professor and Ashok Tripathy, an English literature teacher. Lezlie has a younger brother, Shakespeare King, who is a model and an actor. She graduated from the Asian College of Journalism, Chennai. Before entering the Bollywood industry, Lezlie was active in the Oriya film industry. She featured in music videos and a few films. 

Lezlie started her career in Bollywood with the 2014 film ‘W.’ This was a Hindi-thriller film directed by Tarun Madan Chopra. The movie featured Leeza Mangaldas, Leslie Tripathy, and Sonal Giani in the lead roles. Lezlie played the character of Roohi Malik, a rape victim in the film. Her debut film in the Telugu industry was the movie ‘Chusinodiki Chusinantha.’ The film released in 2012. It was directed by Anil Vatupalli and featured Sivaji, Nagendra Babu, and Lezlie in the lead roles.

Lezlie has received eight Governor Awards, Youth Icon Award, State Rajiv Gandhi Samaan, Fun Fearless Female Icon for excellence in academics and contribution of arts, culture, Activism against Injustice, and Women’s Rights. She has been signed as the youth ambassador for Mahanandi Yojana.
