Sonal Giani is a renowned actress. She works predominantly in the Hindi entertainment industry. She is also an LGBT activist. She was born on 22 May 1987. She is known for her work in the field of Lesbian and Bisexual Women’s issues. She is the co-founder of one of India’s most prominent LGBTQ youth initiatives Umang (Joy). She also co-founded Yaariyan (Friendship). In 2016, she was awarded the Diversity Leadership award recognized by the World HRD Congress. She is also featured under the Top LGBT role models in India by the Gaysi. In 2013, she was listed in the Top Ten LGBT Turks to watch Out for by Bombay dost. She was also a part of movies, theatre production, and represented the Indian LGBTQ community when she was working as the Advocacy Manager.

The show features her real-life experiences and obstacles faced as a Bisexual Woman from India. She was also seen in a Bollywood film W. W was directed by Tarun Chopra that was released in the year 2014. She was born in the city of Pune. She was raised in Goa. Her father was CDR. Rajinder Giani. He is a retired naval police officer. She has an elder brother, Dhaval, and also a twin sister, Rupa. She has won the prestigious Rashtrapati Award of the Bharat Scouts and Guides Movement in the Indian nation. She obtained her degree in B. SC in Hospitality and Hotel management specializing in House Keeping from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in 2007. She was first seen on TV in 2011. She was interviewed for the renowned TV show “Zindagi Live.”
