T. Krishna

Tottempudi Krishna was a director and editor who has worked in Tollywood industry for many years. He is well-known for his movies like Pratighatana, Neti Bharatham, Repati Pourulu, and much more. He has also won many Awards for the films he has directed. Eataram Films was his initiation.

He has also helmed and worked in many Malayalam Films. He had good reputation in his lifetime.. In the year 1986, his last film named “Repati Pourulu” was released. Krishna has completed his education from Osmania University. He, along with Babu Rao Pokuri founded Eetharam Films. Krishna has one daughter and two sons. His son named Premchand wanted to become a director, but in the year 2000, he died due to a car accident when he was helming his first film. T. Gopichand who is the second son of Krishna is a popular actor in the Tollywood industry. In his initial days of struggle, Gopichand played the role of villain in the films. Later on, he started getting lead roles of hero. T. Krishna’s daughter is a dentist by profession. T. Krishna has also won many Awards like Nandi Award in the category of Best First Film of a Director, and much more. He died on 8th of May in the year 1987 in Hyderabad, India.
