V.N. Aditya born with the name Vadrevu Aditya is a screenwriter and movie director in Telugu cinema. He made his debut in the year 2001 with the film Manasantha Nuvve, which was a family drama and was remade in Hindi as Jeena Sirf Merre Liye and was itself a little inspired by Anmol Ghadi, a Bollywood film of 1946. The film starred
and Reemma Sen in the lead roles and became a blockbuster hit. The Hindi version had
and Kareena Kapoor playing the onscreen lovers, but it was directed by Talat Jani.
Aditya has also directed Sreeram, Nenunnanu, Maanasu Maata Vinadhu and Aata. He also has to his credit other films like the 2006 film Boss starring Nagarjuna along with Nayantara,
. The film did an average collection at the box office. Boss was remade in Malayalam and Hindi too. He is known to have worked with a lot of big names in Telugu cinema and his cast for all films consists of certain repeated names. He has also produced a movie, Rainbow.
Aditya entered into marital bliss on 2003. There were rumours that he had affair with singer Sunitha after his marriage.
