Venkat Dilip Chunduru

Venkat Dilip Chunduru is a very talented cinematographer who works in Tollywood and Hollywood film industry. Venkat started his journey in the film industry with Hollywood, he went to the USA to study film-making and direction. In an interview, Mohit reveals how he actually set out to be a director, but he started his work actually as a cinematographer. A lot of times in film school, Mohit would be asked to shoot a film and that’s how he developed a taste for it. He knew that working in Hollywood is not a piece of cake, there a loads of issues involved like unions and many other things which prevent outsiders to work and take work away from people already in Hollywood.

As a cinematographer, Mohit made his debut with a short film called Adam, Eve and the box in 2008. He worked on the cinematography of a couple of other short films too. On the side Mohit was involved in Camera and electrical department work in movies like Extinction, Savannah and Crackerjack. Speaking to an interview, Mohit explained how much work behind the scenes goes on in making a movie, and how directors, director of photography, cameraman and cinematographers are in control of what goes on to the screen. Venkat eventually will direct a movie one day, thats what he went to study in the USA film school, he is absorbing a lot from working on sets and is helping his vision as an aspiring director.
