Edurolu Raju

Edurolu Raju is a well known Tollywood Cinematographer from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He started his career in 1993 when he discovered his passion for filmmaking, later shooting numerous Documentaries, TV Shows, Commercials, and other Film Projects across the world. The Cinematographer holds ten years of experience, starting in January 1999 at “HYDERABAD RACE CLUB” as a Cameraman, where he worked for three years in the team of fifteen members who produced, and shooted live programs of horsing events.

Later in February 2002, Raju joined “JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES,” a nonprofit Christian organization involving TV productions as the Director of Photography. Raju traveled to eighteen countries as the DOP while supervising four teams. The exposure gave him the kickstart towards the path of his career. 4BMEDIA-PROGRESSIVE MEDIA VISION hired him as the Consultant-Director of Photography in March 2002, he worked for eleven years for all the projects under 4B Serve, and Progressive Media,

including documentaries, corporate videos, short stories, and events. Edurolu Raju is currently in Freelance, working as DOP, and has worked in projects like, “Social Butterfly (Mumbai)” BTS video, Diamond Manufactures Promotional Video, and The Journey for company Stories, CAIRN INDIA Ltd (Rajasthan) Internal Video for White Elephant Productions, Progressive Media Vision’s Passion concert (Hyderabad & Delhi), etc. Apart from the filmography line, his hobbies include capturing nature in its natural form, listening to songs,

and traveling the world. Raju is an artistic person and finds art in various forms of nature. Raju has shot some famous Indian movies such as, “Restore Gulu,” a documentary film based on Army, “Manasa Namaha (2020),” a short comedy movie about a young man muses on the nature lovers, and compares his past relationships, “Llpi (2019),” a short sci-fi movie about a telegraph operator who used to connect with his future self, and “Dagudu Muthalu (2016),

a short horror film about a guy named John who isolates himself in a vexatious room. Edurolu Raju has a natural drive and ambition in attaining perfection for ten years in everything he does; people call him “the perfectionist of Cinematography.” He works for at all times, creating a cinematic moment when the composition and the light befit the performance.
