Banu Mathy

Banu Mathy is an Indian actress who contributes majorly to regional Tamil movies and television shows. She was born on 18th January in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She attended the Rani Meyyammai Girls Higher Secondary School and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts from Anna University, both in Chennai. Her first piece of act was in a minor supporting role in “ Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam Click to look into! >> Read More... ” (2014). The movie was a hit but did not bring Banu into the limelight. Banu came to be recognized when she made her debut on the small screen in the second season of Zee Tamil TV’s romance-drama “Mella Thiranthathu Kathavu” (2015).

She replaced actress Vandhana for the supporting role of Sandhya. In 2018, she was invited to perform live at the forum of “India’s Got Talent” reality show in Salmiya in Kuwait, UAE. Her latest project was in a supporting role in S.U. Arun Kumar’s “Sindhubaad” which released on 27th June 2019.
