Balambika is a Tamil cinema actress, who is also acting in serials. She made her debut through the movie Palam as the sister of the actor Murali. She is popular for her role in the movie Nadigan, which has Sathyaraj, Kushboo, Manorama, Goundamani and Chinni Jayanth. Balambika was paired with Chinni in that movie. Many people say that, she resembles Kushboo. She has also acted in Rasathi Varum Naal, Thambikoru Paatu and Enn Aasai Thangachi. In Enn Aasai Thangachi, she paired with Ramki. She has acted as a heroine in more than five movies, and in many movies she has done the role as a sister. She got married in 2001 and consequently quit the cinema industry. She has two children, a son and a daughter.
