Vivek Prasanna

Vivek Prasanna, who was born in the year 1986, belongs to Salem. He is from a non-cinema background. After completing his schooling in Salem, Vivek Prasanna took a train to Chennai. He completed his degree in Viscom in Chennai. As he is much interested in cinematography, Vivek Prasanna joined as an assistant cinematographer to the popular cinematographer Siddharth. While his career was going smoothly, his friend Rathna Kumar invited him to play in a pilot film. It was his acting debut. He had acted in various short films and telefilms. Later, Vivek Prasanna made his silver screen debut in “Sethupathi” with Vijay Sethupathi, directed by Arunkumar in 2016. In the same year, the actor got a chance to share the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi once again in “Iraivi” directed by Karthik Subbaraj. In the year 2017, Vivek Prasanna played in six films including “Maanagaram,” “ Peechankai ,” Vikram Vedha, Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam, Meyaadha Maan and “Velaikkaran.” Among these films Vivek finds Vikram Vedha as one of the good films. Vijay Sethupathi suggested Vivek Prasanna to Pushkar Gayathri and this is how, he got a good role in Vikram Vedha. Peechankai also got him appreciation from the audiences. Meyaadha Maan with Vaibhav Reddy and Priya Bhavani Shankar, directed by his friend Rathna Kumar, took him to the next level and yes, he played the second lead in the film, which garnered him with a lot of appreciation. Vivek Prasanna played in Irumbu Thirai with Vishal Reddy. Vivek Prasanna’s first award has come from the Vijay TV. He got the Best Supporting Actor 2018 for the film Meyadha Maan. Vivek Prasanna has signed doing a new film again with Vijay Sethupathi and “Anjali” directed by Arunkumar. Upcoming movies of Vivek Prasanna are Maniyar Kudumbam with Thambi Ramaiah and “Umapathy” and “Charlie Chaplin 2” with Prabhu Deva. Kartikeya Gummakonda

Kartikeeya Gummakonda is an actor in the Indian film industry. He has worked extensively in Telugu movies and acted in the famous film RX100 in his career span. He was born in the year 1993 to a middle-class family. Kartikeeya hailed from Telangana, Hyderabad, and completed his studies from National Institute of Technology, Warangal with a degree of Bachelor in Technology. His father owns a school and he studied in his father’s school itself. His parents always asked him to be in civil services. They aspired him to become either an IAS officer or an IPS officer, but he was adamant towards acting from the beginning of his college. He made a few short films during his bachelors and wrote the dialogues also. He got trained under Subharao Garu, a retired professor from the National School of Drama. He took eight months of acting training from him. It was this phase of his life when he got to audition for the film Prematha Mee Karthik in which he got selected and made the debut in the film industry. Prematha Mee Karthik was released in the year 2017 and got directed by Rishi Raj. Kartikeeya shared the screen with co-star Simrat Kaur, Murati Sharma, Jhansi, Maruthirao Gollapudi. The film followed the storyline of a boy’s changed life after meeting a beautiful girl. The first film was not a big hit for the actor as he always wanted a blockbuster for his debut but the real fame came to him with his second film ‘RX100’ in 2018. As unique as the name was the story of the movie. It got directed by Ajay Bhupati and had Payal Rajput opposite Kartikeeya. He played the role of Shiva in the movie who is an ordinary living simple guy, but his life turns upside down when he fell in love with a beautiful girl who cheats on him. The actor has worked with the prominent director Krishnan K.T. Nagarajan, and the big producer S. Thanu. Apart from the big banner movies, Kartikeeya worked in the film ‘Fighter Kites’ which was a short film by Jack Birdsall. He played the character of Revantha and shared the screen with Gina Lupica, Rob Mayo, Amar Nath, and Amy Parker. It was a narrative of a girl’s struggle to keep her relationship alive. It was a fundamental attempt on filmmaking but the direction was very catchy and so was Kartikeeya’s acting.
