Amrit Pritam Dutta is a famous Indian sound designer. He pursued his Physics degree from JB College, Jorhat. He has also been chosen as Oscan Governing body’s member. Having born in Jorhat, he has contributed to several movies as sound designer. Kaabil Kick, PK, Beautiful Lives, Highway, Jazbaa, Ghajini are some of his latest works. Amrit Pritam got the Best Sound Editing award along with Resul Pookutty for Roar:

Tigers of the Sunderbans in the 63rd Annual MPSE Golden Reel Awards. His association with Resul Pookutty can be seen in movies including Slumdog Millionaire, Saawariya etc. Keralavarma Pazhasiraja, a Malayalam movie, earned him National Award. Shah Rukh Khan starrer Kal Ho Naa Ho was the film that gave him the much needed recognition. He had also received IIFA and Filmfare award. Slumdog Millionaire earned him Global Globe along with eight Oscars. This also comprises best sound mixing.
