Jagan Purushottam is an Indian actor. He acted in supporting roles in Tamil movies. His birthplace is Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was born on 1st January in 1982. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall.

He entered into Kollywood (Tamil film industry) by acting in the movie Kanda Naal Mudhal. It was a comedy film that released in 2005. He played roles in Ponniyin Selvan, Vallavan, Satham Podathey as Jagan, Oram Po, Pori, Ayan as Chitti Babu, Paiyaa as Poochi, Ko as Chander, Nil Gavani Sellathey as Milo, Chikku Bukku, Doo as Kutty. All these movies were released in between 2005 and 2011. The role of Chitti Babu in Ayan was a turning point in his acting career. He was appreciated for his acting skills.

From 2012, He played the roles in movies like Vathikuchi as Vanaraj, Karuppampatti as Karuppu, Yaaruda Mahesh as Vasanth, Pattathu Yaanai as Ada Murugesan, Endrendrum Punnagai, Naan Sigappu Manithan as Satheesh, Iravum Pagalum Varum as Karthi’s friend. IndiaPakistan as Haridas, Sagaptham as Maruthu, Savaale Samaali as Billa, Thoonga Vanam as Jagan.

The majority of these movies were also dubbed in Telugu. He also got recognition among Telugu people. He tied the knot with Vaanmathi. Jagan also hosted a game show Connexion that tests the contestants’ presence of mind. This show is telecasted on Vijay TV.

During the Nadigar Sangam elections, many actors made buzz in the tinsel town. One is J K Rithesh, who supported 'Vishal' led team. The Pandavar team also has other members like Kamal Haasanand  'Rajinikanth', 'Nassar', 'Karthik Sivakumar' and many more who are rebel to 'R. Sarathkumar'. It is said that Actor J K Rithesh met both the doyens of Tamil cinema 'Rajinikanth 'and 'Kamal Haasan 'and earlier had even donated Rs 10 lakhs to 'Radha Ravi' for the construction of Sivaji Ganesan’s memorial. This actor-turned-politician had acted in very few films such as  'Kaanal Neer' and 'Nayagan'. Though his debut film ‘Kannal Neer’, failed at the box office, his next flick ‘Nayagan’ had a successful run for 100 days in many theatres. This actor used to copy the title films of 'Kamal Haasan' or 'Rajinikanth' to catch the attention of viewers. He then did a small role in Tamil comedy film, Pen Singam (2010). Since then, he has disappeared from the South Indian industry. He is the M.P. of Ramanathapuram district.  He is a politician and earlier he was a part of the political party, Dravida Munnetra Khazagam (DMK). He also won the 15th Loksabha General Elections and received a total of 294,945 votes. Rithesh defeated his close rival, Satiyamoorthy of AIADMK, who only managed to get 225,730 votes. Rithesh is now a part of a political faction, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Khazagam (ADMK). He made it clear on 10 April, 2014 that he is now no longer a member of DMK party. Jai is an Indian Tamil actor. He was born on 6th April 1984. His birthplace is Chennai in Tamil Nadu. His parents are Sambath and Latha. He has one elder and a younger sister. He is the nephew of famous music director Deva, who worked in all south Indian languages (Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam). As his family is full of musicians, Jai also has an interest in music. For learning keyboard, he went to London and joined Trinity College of London. In his early career in Tamil film industry, he worked as Keyboardist with his Uncle Deva for many movies. His favorite music director is Yuvan Shankar Raja. In 2002, he made his acting debut in the Tamil film titled Bagavathi. This film turned out to be a  commercial hit in the Tamil Industry. Jai played a lead role for the first time in film Chennai 600028 in 2007. In this movie, he played the role of Raghu. Jai acting was widely appreciated in this movie. He gave comments that only Vaamanan will be a box office hit, and others will turn up as financial failures. He was opposed by the producers of these movies for making such type of comments. He made cameo appearances in the films like Saroja, Ko, Biryani, Bramman, Masss, Vaalu. He was nominated for Film Fare Award for Best Supporting Actor of Tamil in 2011 for the movie Raja Rani. From his childhood onwards he had an interest in Car racing, and his inspiration is hero Ajith Kumar. It made him participate in JK Tyre National Racing Championship of June 2014 in Sriperumbudur, Chennai. It was his first car racing tournament. The movies like Pugazh, Idhu Namma Aalu, Arjunan Kadhali, Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum are in different stages of post-production and are yet to be released.
