Arul Mani is a Tamil cinema actor, who is mostly seen in the negative characters. After his schooling, he joined an Amateur troupe, due to his passion for acting. During his college days, Arul Mani has participated in lots of competitions. It was the time when the veteran actor Radha Ravi and Arul Mani had a tough competition. Later, he joined in Radha Ravi’s troupe, as per his request and performed well in all the roles. After completing his graduation, he got a job in All India Radio and worked in a Program named, “Ilaya Bharatham". Simultaneously, he acted in the dramas. Later, he got an idea to join the Film Institute to learn the acting techniques. Meanwhile, he acted in the veteran actor Sahashranamam’s troupe. After completing his course, he waited for the opportunity to perform in the cinema. But, he did not get any chance. Being idle made Arul Mani to fed up; so, he started a Tutorial College named, Genius College. Meanwhile, he got opportunities to act in the movies in small roles, and Arul Mani utilized it.

Though he started to act in the films, he did not leave his educational institution. Later, he started a Matriculation School, Computer Center, and an Educational Trust. His performance in director Thangar Bachan’s “ Azhagi” gave him a turning point in his acting career. The most popular movies, in which Arul Mani acted are “Azhagi”, “ Thendral”, “Ponnumani”, “Dharmaseelan", “Karuppu Roja", “Vel", “Marudhamalai", “Katradhu Tamil", “Vana Yuddham", “Singam 2” and “Linga".He has acted in 90 movies and has performed with almost all the top actors. In “Vel” he acted as a second villain next to Kalabhavan Mani. Arul Mani has acted with Vijay in a commercial advertisement. Arul Mani lauds Super Star Rajinikanth for his simplicity, which he saw during the shooting of “Linga". Though Arul Mani is busy with his business and acting profession, his interest in learning did not go down. At present, he is doing his MBA in Human Resource. He has already done his MBA course with Marketing as the specialization. He is very proud that he has received an Award as the Best Student Of Tamil Nadu.

He is a qualified International Trainer for educational activities and been in America for a few years. Arul Mani is also interested in doing comedy roles in the cinema, and he has a thirst to direct a movie in the future.

M.Sasikumar is a versatile cine artist. He juggles between direction, production, and acting. He made his debut in Kollywood as a Director through the original, suburban film Subramaniapuram (2008). The movie was rendered on a small budget and made heads turn because of the new script. Sasikumar graduated from Vellaichamy Nadar College, Madurai, majoring in Business Administration. His uncle A. Kandaswamy, the producer of the film Sethu, made him the Assistant Director for the movie, under the prominent Director Bala. In the sets of Sethu, he became a friend of Ameer, who was also an Assistant Director. Sasikumar then worked as the Assistant Director under Ameer, in the movies Mounam Pesiyadhe (2005) and Raam (2002). In the year 2008, his debut film Subramaniapuram was released and received rave reviews. The film was taken in the backdrop of Madurai and was about a group of tramps, getting affected because of a political crime. The shooting of the movie was completed in 85 days, and it was a box office hit. The film’s script was released as an English book in the year 2014. Sasikumar has also been a part of a Malayalam project along with Actor Prithviraj. He acted as Milan Paul in the critically acclaimed movie Masters, in the year 2012. He served the role of Karuna, in the 2009 flick Nadodigal, directed by his good friend Samuthirakani. Sasikumar has been a successful producer, creating offbeat films such as Pasanga by Pandiraj, Eesan under his direction and much more. In the year 2011 and 2012, his company had produced Porali and Sundarapandian respectively. He played the lead in both the films. Sasikumar produced Thalaimuraigal, directed by the legendary Cinematographer and Director Balu Mahendra. The movie went on to receive the National Award from the hands of The Honorable President of India, in the year 2014. Mahalingam Sasikumar was born on 28 September 1975 in Madurai. He is a Tamil film actor, producer, and director. He studied at the St Peters School Kodaikanal. He then went on to study business administration in VellaichamyNadar College, Madurai.  At the age of 20, he worked with his uncle for the film Sethu. One of his acquaintances, Ameer helped him prosper. He assisted him in the films like Mounam Pesiyadhe and Raam. It was on the set of Paruthiveeran that he began work for Subramiapuram and left for it. Sasikumar is into the wedlock and has a son and a daughter. He revealed in an interview that he wants his family not to be in the spotlight because it would invade their privacy.  Jumping to his film career, he is best known for the Tamil film Subramiapuram. It was his debut film. The original script, sets, costumes, direction, and screenplay made it a super hit despite being a small budget film. The film was shot in 85 days and centers on a set of vagabond youths in Madurai during the 1980s and their lives that get entangled in politics and crime, eventually leading to tragedy. In 2003, he portrayed the role of a Nadaswaram player who heads a Karagattam troupe. He underwent rigorous training and grew long hair. His most recent productions include Poraali and Sundarapandian. BaluMahendra acted with Sasikumar for the first time in the latter’s production film Thalaimuraigal. Balu Anand

Balu Anand is a well-known Indian actor and director, who has worked in the south Indian film industry. The actor-director has mainly contributed to the Tamil film industry. Many of his works are inspired by Malayalam cinema. He first joined the Tamil movie industry as a director in the year 1985. His first movie was Naane Raja Naane Mandhiri. It couldn’t garner much appraise from the critics, but the music of the movie was widely appreciated. Famed music director Ilaiyaraaja gave its music. In 1988, he directed another Tamil movie Annanagar Mudhal Theru. It was a romantic comedy. It proved to be one of the most successful films by the director. The film was inspired by a Malayalam flick Gandhinagar 2nd Street. The original movie had South superstar Mohanlal and Karthika in the lead. The remake starred ‘Radha’, ‘Sathyaraj’, ‘Janagaraj’, and ‘Ambika’ among others. The movie did decent business. In 1993, Anand directed a movie with the longest title in the Tamil film industry till date, Rajadhi Raja Raja Kulothunga Raja Marthanda Raja Gambeera Kathavaraya Krishna Kamarajan. The producer of the movie was J.A. Mohammed Ali and it featured Mansoor Ali Khan and ‘Nandhini’ in the lead. The film panned at the box-office. Anand has managed to maintain a balance between his acting and directorial ventures. He, however, always played small side roles in all his movies. The director forayed into acting with the Tamil film ‘Pistha’ in 1997. Balu had a small role in the movie. The movie was a huge hit at the box office. Pistha was followed by ‘Velai’ in 1998. In 1999, he did another drama flick Unakkaga Ellam Unakkaga. In 2003, Anand was a part of the comedy venture, Anbe Sivam. It was written by the renowned actor Kamal Haasan, who also was the lead hero in the movie. Madurai Sambavam was another movie which he did in 2009. This action -thriller movie garnered decent commercial success but was not critically acclaimed. Balu did the movie ‘Ajantha’ in 2014. It was shot in three languages with different star-cast- Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Balu was part of the Tamil version. In the same year, he also directed a movie after a long gap by the name Anandha Thollai. The movie was about the missing son of a royal family, his fight with the enemies and his love story.
