R. Sudharsan was born on 29th May in 1988. He is presently 29 years old. His birthplace is Chennai. He is a professional editor in Indian cinema. His main area of work is in Tamil films. He is a very young member of the industry. He has worked in collaboration with editors like R. Parthiepan. Sudharsan is also known by the name V. Harsan. Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA was a Tamil film released in the year 2013 under the direction of Manivannan. This film marked the debut of Sudharsan as a film editor. Sudharsan is a Computer Engineer.

He graduated from the Kumbakonam Sastra University with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Computer Science. After graduating, he decided to take up film-editing as his profession. To fulfill his quest he took up a small course in the Loyola College in Chennai. After graduating from the college, he got a job as an editor in Master Mediaworks, a digital production company. While working in that company, he has edited TV Commercials, film promotionals and much more. After doing well in his debut film in 2013, he was offered the role of an editor in another film in 2014.

The film was directed by R. Pathiepan, and the name of the film was Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam. Sudharsan’s editing skills were greatly appreciated after the movie released and topped the box office chart. After a gap of two years, he again returned as the film editor in the movie Zero in the year 2016. The film was directed by Shiv Moha. Many newspapers and online film review sites rated his editing as a five out of five. They commented that his editing brought many important parts of the film together. He is working on two films which are yet to be released. One is Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga.

The film is directed by Parthiban. The film released this year and received good response from the people. Another film which he is currently working on is Dhayam. Dhayam is a thriller film which is to be released later this year. R. Sudharsan is a very demanding film editor. His editing skills are greatly praised. R K Selva

RK Selva is an Indian movie editor who is currently working in the Tamil entertainment industry. During his college days, Selva took a keen interest in film making. With his friends, Selva decided to try his hand in movies. Initially, Selva started making short clips which he directed as well as edit them. In 2010, Selva uploaded a video “Yemattram” on the streaming website YouTube. In 2011, Selva launched another clip “UyirVaasam.” In 2012, Selva was the editor of Guhan Senniappan’s Sennai Vettai. Sennai Vettai also featured on the reality show “NaalayaIyakunar” which is a platform for aspiring directors. Selva was an assistant to Praveen KL as he was a part of the editorial department of Madras which released on 26 September 2014. Critics praised the flick for its action scenes. The team also got a nomination for the category of “Best Editing” at the Vijay Awards 2015. In 2015, Selva got his first chance in Kollywood as he revised the final cut of SakalakalaVallavan which had Anjali, Jayam Ravi and Trisha in the lead roles. It released on 31 July 2015. However, it received criticism from the reviewers and the audience alike. Several journalists termed the motion picture as a forgettable one. Despite the negative reviews, SakalakalaVallavan had a mediocre collection of 15 crore rupees. In 2016, Selva edited Usha Krishnan’s Raja Manthiri. Kalaiyarasan, Kaali Venkat, and Shaalin Zoya were the leading actors of this Tamil comedy drama. Although the film was ready to get screened by December 2015, the producers opted to release in June 2016. Finally, people could watch Raja Manthiri on the release date of 24 June 2016. Raja Manthiri impressed most of the cinema lovers with its hilarious dialogues. In the same year, Selva was the editor of Suraj’s Kaththi Sandai in which Vishal and Tamannaah appeared as the protagonists. Kaththi Sandai released on 23 December 2016 after a series of delays. It got a lukewarm reception from the viewers. Various publication houses lamented the waste of a decent plot and screenplay. In fact, some critics mentioned the movie as tedious. R Kannan zeroed in on Selva for the editing task of his latest project Ivan Thanthiran which is about two students who attempt to expose a minister’s corrupt activities. Ivan Thanthiran received praises from the critics. Selva’s current film is Kaalakkothu. Selva is a supporter of Manchester United and Chennai Super Kings.
