Niranjana - Ventriloquist

Niranjana is a well-known Ventriloquist who works predominantly in the Tamil entertainment industry. Despite having heavy competition in the entertainment industry where media and television have taken over ancient art culture, Niranjana managed to grasp the attention of huge audiences with her spectacular skills. She managed to keep alive this fading craft with her breathtaking performances. Her mother is Nikkila Pillai, and her father is Venkatesh. He is also popularly known as Venky Monkey. He began his career as a mimicry artist and later on pursued a career in Ventriloquism in 1989. He received many assignments in 1995 and has given more than 6000 performances across the globe in regions like India, Switzerland, Canada, the US, Thailand, and Singapore. Niranjana started learning from her father since three. She was awarded the “Kalaichudar Mathi,” and a documentary was made on her by Pondicherry University. The government of Pondicherry bestowed her with a “Mazhalaiyar Kalai Thilagam.”

Various schools and universities also invited her to perform. She has performed for children with HIV, dyslexia, cancer, and autism. Apart from being the youngest Ventriloquist in the industry, she is also a professional Bharathnatiyam Dancer. She has completed Bharathnatiyam Aranketram on 22 January 2012. She began her career as a Ventriloquist at the very tender age of 6. She was born in the city of Chennai, located in Tamil Nadu, India. She is currently residing at Pondicherery, located In Tamil Nadu, India. She obtained her education from Saraswati Kendra and Adhithya Vidyahsram.

Apart from being a Ventriloquist and a Bharathnatiyam dancer, she is also the winner of the Indian Comedy reality show Kalakka Pavdhu Yaaru season 8. All of her works were great and loved by the viewers. She was immensely enthusiastic about Ventriloquism since her early childhood days. Her extraordinary skills would open various doors for her in the entertainment industry. She always believed that Ventriloquism plays a significant role in her life and brings a sense of meaning to her existence. She loves doing this and would continue to do so in the future too.
