Anu Mohan is a director and a well-known actor best known for his endeavors in the South Indian Film Industry. He has worked mostly in the Tamil movies. He initiated his career as a director but couldn't get successful in that stream. In most of the movies, he is seen as an actor in the side role playing the comedy part. Anu Mohan was born and brought in Chennai, India. He made his directorial debut in the industry with " Idhu Oru Thodar Kathai" in 1987. The film couldn't get him the desired success. He made another attempt and directed "Ninaivu Chinnam" in 1989.
After the release of movie, he had to face failure again. In his entire career till date, he has directed only four movies. In 1997, he finally tried acting and made his debut through "V.I.P" in which he acted as a chauffer. In 1999, finally the efforts turned fruitful. "
Padayappa" was released and he won many applauses for that role. He also supported the super star of the industry, Rajnikanth, in his film "Linga." By playing comic roles in the movies Anu Mohan has created an identity for himself. 1999 proved to be one of the golden years of his career as he got many roles and performed them well.

Arun Mohan is also trying his fortune in the industry and made his debut as a director in 2014 via Tamil movie "Sarabha." Sometimes, the role of the side hero is neglected in the movie but Anu Mohan always leaves a remarkable impression on the minds of spectators.
