Karthik Chandrasekar

Karthik Chandrasekhar is a well-known colorist from the Tamil industry. He pursued his schooling at Avichi Higher Secondary School in Tamil Nadu. He then obtained his degree from Chennai National Arts and Science College. He started his career as a Junior DI colorist in the Quality cine Labs at Mumbai, Maharashtra. He then went on to become a DI Colorist at Freelance Color grading for 11 months. During his experience as a freelancer, he worked on almost 13 movies and short films independently. He also worked with Varnalaya Visuals Pvt ltd as a Senior Colorist for more than 15 Malayalam movies. He worked with the top most directors of photography in the industry. He is currently working at Jyostar Studio, located in the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India. He has been working at Jyostar Studio since 2017.

He has vast experience in the color correction domain with Filmlight Baselight. He has also Mastered DCP. He has amazing usage of proper look-up tables and other color science processes. He is an experienced software platform editor. He also knows re-timing and manipulating shots in after effects. Karthik Chandrasekhar has strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work with great artists regularly and maintains excellent work ethics. He gained huge accolades for his tremendous contribution in the entertainment industry. His deep sense of varied thinking enabled him to slay many movies and set benchmarks despite heavy competition in the entertainment sector.
