Raghavendra Thirun

With a qualification in electronics, Raghavendra was placed as a network engineer in an International firm, branded him as a professional engineer. He then managed to earn his way into field of storyteller and movies direction. To fulfill his dreams, he opted to undertake a postgraduate diploma course in editing and sound design from the L.V. Prasad Film and TV Academy in Chennai which is a well-known school. This shift into the new career provided Raghavendra with a great deal of change in his life as it now enhances the focus and the passion for his work.

He hoped to focus on creating intriguing narratives in various languages and genres and experimenting with the nuances of film editing. Today, whatever new task is presented him, he tries in the best possible way to make the idea of the text and its content engaging for the audience and to the story as such. During his career in film industry, Raghavendra has collaborated with several prominent Indian National award winner editors like Mr. Sreekar Prasad and Mr. Rameshwar Bhagat. Getting recognition and mentorship by these renowned people and working with distinguished production companies, he acquired invaluable experience of different cinema, cultures and styles.
