Lalagudi N Ilayaraja is an Art Director from Lalagudi, a town in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. He did his schooling from Government Higher Secondary School situated in Lalagudi. This talented Art Director was also awarded with the Vijay Award for Best Art Direction for the same film in the year 2013. “The challenge is to be as real as possible”, these were the words quoted by the 29-year-old Art Director during an interview at his Virugambakkam residence after his work in Vishwaroopam was praised with the National Awards. In today’s world, everyone works to be noticed by the people. But, Ilayaraja believes if the audience walk out of the theaters without noticing his work, he would have succeeded, showing the difference between him and the other people.
