Yuvan Yuvathi is a Tamil romantic film directed by G N R Kumaravelan. This movie is based on a love story between a software engineer and a girl looking to settle in another country. It has lots of romantic sequences where love between the two is evidently shown. Along with that, it has some great looking emotional scenes as well which will help in binding the story together. Produced by V Rama Doss, it has a star cast of Bharath, Rima Kallingal, Santhanam and Sampath Raj in important roles. The movie was later dubbed in Telugu as well by the name “Dear”.
The film is based on inter-caste love story between the two leads. The father of the hero is totally against it but the hero somehow manages to convince him and also wins the heart of his love interest. Released in 2011, this film did not receive the response that was expected. It was a box office failure and did not get appreciated by the critics as well. The audience felt that it lacked some extra element which is very essential for a movie to work. It was another one of those usual romantic flicks and the audience didn’t notice anything special.
