Sreekumar Arookutty is a Malayalam screenplay writer based in Cherthala. He is known for movies like Kshanam, Aattuvela, The Warrant, and Desadanam. He is also associated with the movies Bharya, Rajadhani, and Manthiram. His guru was the popular director Thambi Kannamthanam. Sreekumar graduated from Sacred Heart College, Thevara. He also studied at Kerala Media Academy, Kakkanad. He is the writer and director of Sree 4 Elephants for which he received the Special Jury Award in Kerala State Television Awards 2007. Sreekumar has also written a book called Aanakkundoru Kadhaparayan in 2021.
