Pramod Kooveri is an Indian writer who has primarily worked in the Malayalam film industry. Pramod hails from Kooveri, Kannur, Kerala. Pramod went to high school at Chapparapadavu High School and studied at Sirsyed College.
As a writer, he has worked on many films and dramas, such as Andal and Kanthan- The Lover of Colour (2018). His film Kanthan- The Lover of Colour, has received an award for the best film in the Kerala Film Award 2018. He has worked as a screenwriter in the Malayalam film State Bus, which gave him a huge break in the field. He has written several books, including Dhandakaranyam, Pathonpathu Mottakal, and Mrigaveshaka.
He has also written short stories for weekly stories on the online news platform Samkalikamalayalam.com.
