He was born in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, on 15 October 1989 and grew up in Kottakkal in Malappuram district. He completed his engineering at FISAT, Angamaly, Kerala. He worked as a Software engineer in Tata Consultancy Services in Kochi for three years. He marked his debut with the movie Malarvaadi Arts Club when he was in college in 2010. His song “Muthuchippi Poloru” from the film Thattathin Marayathu, which received more than six lakh hits on YouTube, made him famous among the masses. He also started making music for commercial advertisements and independent music. In 2015, he launched his first independent single, “ Naam Story coming soon... >> Read More... ,” which premiered on the Pepsi MTV Indies channel. His debut movie composition, Aanandam, was out in 2016. His most recent project is the track for the film Aanandam. He handled five full-length songs in addition to the background music in the movie. He made his Tamil debut in a music album titled Vizhiyil, directed by Aju Raj and Krishna V S.
