Akhil Jaya Chand Acharya

Akhil Jaya Chand Acharya is a playback singer and musician in the Malayalam Film Industry. He also sings Ghazals. His songs are mainly featured in three languages - Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. He is associated with some of the music groups like kARNATRiix.

Akhil Jaya Chand Acharya was born on 22nd November 1983, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He graduated from the SRM University, Chennai, in the field of Science. Akhil was good at singing from an early age. And his talent was observed by his music teachers when they observed him participating in the annual school functions. He was excellent at singing Carnatic music. Later to improve his singing skills, he approached M. G. Radhakrisnan, so that he can learn Carnatic music from him.

Akhil Jaya Chand Acharya went as a  contestant in Idea Star Singer, Season 4, in the year 2009. Where he is introduced with the music director Sharreth, with whom he got the chance to compose and release some devotional song albums.
