Haris Saleem is a Mollywood singer, a hip-hop artist by passion, and a Doctor by profession. Haris Saleem became the first hip-hop artist who did rap in Malayalam. He completed his education at Calicut Medical College. He began his musical journey with his friends and made some singles. They also created a band called Street Academics. During the day, a stethoscope is hung around his neck, and at night, it’s a black pair of headphones.
Haris was a modest, hardworking student with a passion for poetry in both English and Malayalam. He fell in love with hip-hop when Eminem was a rising star. Along with his bandmates RJV, Amjad, DJ Vivek, and Abhimanyu, he learned more about hip-hop. Battle raps and tournaments proved very beneficial to him. He believed that the internet was a valuable resource for him, which gave rise to a new hip-hop artist. His famous works include Vecho Foot, Game Changer, Pommunkatta, and Uyirullavaram Sakalorkkum. Haris believes that hip-hop is a way to express himself, and if he succeeds in getting a message from one or two people, he will be pleased.
